P.P.G. van den Boom
4-18

During thirteen years of survey in the province Namur in Belgium 323 lichen species have been recorded. They are reported below. Lichen records of the spring meeting of the Dutch Bryological and Lichenological Society in 1984 are included. Anema nummularium (Duf.) Nyl., Bacidina delicata (Larbal. ex Leighton) V.Wirth & Vězda, Catillaria atomarioides (Müll.Arg.) Kilias, Chaenotheca hispidula (Ach.) Zahlbr., Polyblastia deminuta Arnold and Porina byssophila (Körber ex Hepp) Zahlbr. are recorded for the first time in Belgium.
Leptobarbula is minder zeldzaam dan gedacht
R.J. Bijlsma & H.N. Siebel
19-21

Leptobarbula berica has been found in a number of localities on apparently ubiquitous substrate: partly buried and slightly shaded bricks as well as on various brickworks just above ground level. Its ecology is discussed in relation to Gyroweisia tenuis.

De eendagsexcursie naar het Marine Radiostation te Noordwijk. (1996)
M.J.H. Kortselius
23-27

A report is presented on the Bryophytes observed during a one day visit to calcareous sand dunes near Noordwijk. Normally, the public has no access to the area visited because of occupation by the Dutch Royal Navy. The moss vegetation appears well established, particularly on north slopes and Sambucus shrubs. Attention is given to red list species as well as to rarely fruiting species. Nearby, a north slope habitat with Rhytidium rugosum and other fine mosses, has been shown to the participants. Korstmossen en mossen op dijken en iepen bij Hoorn (Noord-Holland)
A. Aptroot & W. van Heesch
28-31

The dykes and Ulmus trees along the IJsselmeer near Hoorn (Prov. Noord-Holland) proved relatively rich in lichen species. The only rare species found on Ulmus was Strigula affinis. The following three species, Bacidia viridifarinosa, Caloplaca britannica, and Leptogium teretiusculum are reported for the first time from the Netherlands. The Caloplaca was found on exposed granite, the Bacidia and the Leptogium on sheltered brick between granite boulders of the dyke. Also some hygrophytic mosses are present, including Rhynchostegiella jacquinii.
De excursie van 23 maart 1996 naar het Horsterwold (Z-Flevoland)
R.J. Bijlsma
32-36

Horsterwold in Southern Flevoland, one of the IJsselmeerpolders reclaimed in 1968, has been afforested from 1973 onwards with a variety of mainly deciduous tree species. A one-day visit yielded several noteworthy mosses on poplar trunks such as Cryphaca heteromalla, Orthotrichum pumilum, O. striatum and Ulota coarctata. On recently felled 22-year old poplars mosses appeared to attain a height of 10m (Orthotrichum diaphanum), with O. stramineum, O. tenellum and Tortula laevipila occurring between 2 and 7.5m. The extremely rare Habrodon perpusillus was found at a height of 7.5m. Locaties in dit artikel: Horsterwold (atlasblok: 26-55)
Reboulia hemispherica L. Raddi terug in Nederland, met opmerkingen over de mosflora van de Hoge Fronten
J.A.W. Nieuwkoop
37-40

After 122 years Reboulia hemisphaerica was rediscovered in the extreme south of the Netherlands. The location and habitat are discussed. The nearest locations of the species are in Belgium, where it is highly endangered. Locaties in dit artikel: De Hoge Fronten (atlasblok: 61-28)
